Click on the Student Account and Registration link, then click on create a new user account. Complete the profile information, make a note of the username and password you created, then login to your Student Account. From here, you will be able to register for courses and track your academic progress.

In your Student Account, you are able to register for courses, view your grades and transcript, view your payment history, browse The College bookstore, track your orders, and more. Your Student Account logon name and password is not assigned to you from The College, you must create your own username and password, so make a note of this information once it is successfully created.

The tuition for CLU^®, ChFC^®, CFP^®, CASL^®, RHU^® and REBC^® courses is $620, plus $25 (per course) for shipping and handling of materials. Your tuition covers the cost for all of your required study materials, including textbooks, audio reviews, and syllabus, as well as access to online study tools, sample exams, and interactive exercises. Your examination is also included with the cost of tuition.

If you are taking your first course with The American College, you will be charged a one-time, non-refundable New Student Fee of $140. This fee covers the cost of setting up student records, which enable us to track your progress.

An EOD^®(examination on demand^®) ticket is your enrollment ticket used to schedule your final exam at a Pearson VUE testing center at any time during your selected exam quarter. If you chose the current exam period, your EOD ticket will be sent as soon as your registration is processed, along with a list of examination centers and an instruction pamphlet. If you chose a future exam period, you will receive your EOD ticket about one week before the start of that exam period.

During the course registration process, you are required to select an exam quarter. The exam quarter is the quarter in which you are to have your final exam completed. There are four quarters for you to choose from, and it is recommended you select a testing quarter with plenty of time to prepare for your exam. The four quarters during the year are January-March, April-June, July-September, or October-December and you are able to test at any time within your chosen 3-month testing window.

The Blackboard website gives you access to an online textbook and syllabus, learning modules which break the assignments into shorter segments, practice questions, interactive learning exercises, sample exams, faculty course pages, important announcements and much more. You must be registered for a course to be able to access the Blackboard website. If you do not have your logon information and would like to request this to be sent to you, please send an email request to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

No. It is not a requirement to log-on to the Blackboard website. However, since the courses are primarily self-study, the Blackboard website makes your learning hands-on with interactive exercises and practice exams. The time management tips available on Blackboard also give guidance to stay on track while studying for your final exam.

Expect to receive your materials (textbooks, audio review, and syllabus) in 7-10 business days after your registration is completed. Expect to receive shipping confirmation and Blackboard access through email, immediately after your registration is processed. If you chose the current exam period, your EOD ticket will also be sent immediately. If you chose a future exam period, your EOD ticket will be sent about one week prior to the start date of your chosen testing quarter. It is important that you provide a valid email address and home address so you receive all of the materials you need. Final grade reports and EOD tickets are sent only to home addresses, not business addresses.

Yes. Keir Educational Resources offers additional study materials. These materials, which are available to be purchased online through The College's bookstore, include review digests, interactive exam CD's, and flashcards. Click here to learn more about these supplementary study materials.

If you have not received your textbooks after 10 business days of your registration, please contact a Professional Education counselor at 888-263-7265. Materials can be held up from shipping for several reasons i.e., prior balance, unpaid new student fee, invalid shipping address, or textbook revisions.

The American College textbooks are regularly revised to reflect recent tax code changes, new legislation, and industry trends so you can stay current. Revised textbooks are shipped to students on the first day of the month of your selected testing quarter. Textbooks that are not under revision are shipped as soon as the registration is processed. Make a note of the valid textbook dates under each designations course curriculum.

Once you receive your EOD (examination-on-demand) ticket, you are able to schedule your final exam. It is recommended that you schedule your exam as soon as you receive your EOD ticket to avoid the last minute rush and to give yourself enough time to study.

You must contact a Pearson VUE testing center at 866-392-6822 or visit their website at www.vue.com/taclocate to schedule your final exam. Pearson VUE will send you a confirmation email, which lists the scheduled date and time of your exam, as well as directions to the testing center location. At the end of the allowed testing time at the testing center, you will receive a pass/fail grade and a summary of your performance by assignment. The College will mail an official grade report to you within 10 days after you have taken the exam. Remember, official grade reports are sent only to home addresses.

If you are unsuccessful in your attempt, The College permits you to retake an exam for a fee of $165. If you do not retest within one year, you pay the full tuition fee to retake your exam. You must wait at least 2 business days before you reschedule another appointment at a testing center for the failed exam.

If the 3-month window passes and you have not taken your final exam, there is $165 reschedule fee to move your testing quarter to a later quarter. If you do not reschedule within one year, you pay the full tuition fee to reschedule your exam.

Any of The American College's Huebner School courses can be counted towards your CE credit requirements (varies by state). Please use our CE Credit Guide to determine how many CE credits each course is worth in your home state.

It is required that you request CE to be reported to your home state at the time of registration. CE for completed courses is NOT reported to your home state automatically, and must be requested separately. As many states have deadlines from the examination date by which your CE must be reported, The College does not guarantee CE will be accepted by your state if you request after taking the final examination and is not responsible if CE is not awarded by your state. During the scheduled testing quarter of the last course of your selected program, you will receive a designation application. This is your notice that you are a few steps away from designation completion. To receive your designation, you must successfully complete all of the required courses in your program, meet experience requirements and ethics standards, and agree to comply with The American College Code of Ethics and Procedures. In addition to completing the CFP^® Certification Curriculum, students must meet additional CFP^® Board requirements in order to qualify to sit for the CFP^® Certification examination. These include the completion of a Bachelor's degree and ethics and experience requirements. Please visit www.cfp.net for more information.

Once your course registration is completed, expect an email that includes a course confirmation and the status of your ordered course materials. Depending on textbook revisions, expect to receive your materials (textbook, audio review, and syllabus) in 7-10 business days. Before your materials arrive, you are able to logon to the Blackboard website and view the materials online.

No. The American College issues the designation after all of the required courses are completed and all other requirements are met for the ChFC^®, CLU^®, and CASL^® designations. Within the online registration process, you are able to search for your moderator's name OR you can search by class; use available classes (i.e. all 201 classes), and select the class your moderator is assigned to. If you are registering by paper application, write the moderator's name on the second page of the course registration form where indicated.

The American College courses have exam testing periods to ensure that your examination reflects the study materials you receive. When you register for a course, you will select the term in which the start date for your class is contained (ex: select October-December for a class beginning on November 10th).

For Classroom courses: The deadline for classroom registrations is by the 3rd week of the course. Since attendance policies allow for no more than two classes to be missed, all classroom registrations must be submitted no later than the 3rd week of the course.

For OTC courses: The last day to submit an application for an upcoming OTC course is always 8 calendar days prior to the course's start date. Registrations submitted after the deadline will be added to the next monthly course section.

The LUTCF/FSS designations offer hands-on sales training to help life insurance professionals and financial services professionals get their careers off to a fast start. Get more information on the LUTCF or FSS programs.

The LUTCF and FSS programs share many common courses. The key difference is that the FSS program includes two required financial planning courses (FA 262 and FA 263), which are not available through the LUTCF program.

You must complete a total of six courses to earn the LUTCF or FSS designation. More information on the specific courses and course requirements for the LUTCF or FSS is available.

All LUTCF and FSS classes last eight weeks followed by an examination.

LUTCF and FSS courses are taught in classrooms or online by experienced moderators. Our moderators bring years of industry knowledge to their classes, which feature a variety of role-playing exercises, sales planning projects, action projects, readings, and class discussion. The College works with local NAIFA associations as well as agency managers to organize classes at any time throughout the year.

You have the option to complete several LUTCF/FSS courses online through our Online Training Center (OTC). To complete a course online, you will submit a variety of classroom assignments and sales learning activities and provide feedback to your classmates. There is no specific day or time when you must login, but you have from Monday until Sunday to submit each week's assignment.

A 201, FA 202, FA 251, FA 262 and FA 271 are currently available.

Classroom courses: Successful completion of classroom courses is based on meeting requirements in the areas of attendance, final examination (at least 70 percent), and term grade (at least 70 percent). You must take a final exam with your class. The final exams typically consist of 50 multiple-choice questions and are administered by your Moderator (or a substitute exam proctor) during your 9th week of class.

OTC Courses: To be eligible to take the final exam for OTC courses, you must pass 7 of the 8 weekly classes and register a final exam proctor by the 6th week of class. Student and Proctor Final Exam eligibility e-mails will be sent on the Friday prior to the beginning of the Final Exam Testing Period. There is a one week period between the final class (Class 8) due date and the beginning of your course's 14 day testing period. The specific dates for the testing period will be posted in the "Take the Final Exam" link inside your course.

Your final grade report is mailed directly to you approximately 3 weeks after the final examination is received by The College. Grades are stated only as "pass" or "nonpass".

Once all courses are completed, you must also formally apply to The College for the designation. You must also be a member in good standing with NAIFA. Upon earning the designation, you will be able to participate in the annual commencement ceremonies.

If you do not pass the final exam on your first attempt but have met all other course requirements, you have one year from your course enrollment date to schedule an exam retake with The College. There is a $165 fee in order to administer the exam retake. Your Moderator will give you an Application for Alternate Examination form, which you need to complete and return to the Office of Professional Education. You are only able to retake the final exam once. If you do not pass the retake, you must register for the course again, paying full tuition and re-completing the class work component of the course.

You have one year from your course enrollment date to schedule an alternate exam with The College. There is a $165 fee in order to administer the exam. Your Moderator will give you an Application for Alternate Examination form to complete and return to the Office of Professional Education.

Moderating an LUTCF or FSS class is easy. We provide everything you need to teach 8 individual weekly classes, give lectures on material, lead discussions with the students, answer questions, grade assignments and maintain attendance and grade reports. Moderators are eligible to enroll in their courses free of charge and are able to receive CE credits after passing the course. As a Moderator, you will proctor the final exam, unless you are also taking the final for credit in which case, both you and your students will be proctored by a disinterested third party.

The first step to becoming a moderator for a class or OTC course is to submit your Moderator application, at least 35 days prior to the desired class start date. Your next step is to immediately begin marketing the course and recruiting students, since the minimum class size is 6 students. Don't wait for the approval to be received before you announce the class. Visit those local Agency offices in your community (with applications in hand) and recruit students. Once you have been notified by email that your class has been set up in the system, students are then able to complete their registration. Also, your Moderator Kit/Guide will then be shipped to you via UPS.

The moderator kit/guide includes:

• The student textbook and workbook
• The moderator Guide book
• A packet containing a training handbook with helpful hints on how to best moderate an LUTCF class and the various forms required for administering the class.

The CLF^® Program (Chartered Leadership Fellow^®) is different from the other designations since it requires a four day on-campus "capstone" residency for the program. This unique combination of self-study and seminar formats enables you to pursue some course work at your own pace while at the same time giving you the opportunity to network with instructors and other dedicated professionals to share ideas and benefit from their experiences.

HS 371 and HS 372 are presented through local/regional delivery by GAMA International. HS 381 is presented as a distance/local delivery course through Kinder Brothers International. HS 373, HS 382, HS 383, HS 384, HS 386, and HS 387 are self-study courses offered by The College, that conclude with a short answer, paper and pencil essay exam. No, the CAP^® and certificate programs are self-study courses that can be taken without admittance into the Graduate school. Each of these courses concludes with an exam administered at a Pearson VUE testing center. To schedule an exam, please call Pearson VUE at 1-866-EXAM-TAC (1-866-392-6822).

The tuition cost for a self-study Graduate course is $1,185 (per course). The tuition includes a study guide and access to The College's Blackboard website. This cost does NOT include textbooks. The MSM has been developed to be completed in one year. The program begins and concludes with on-campus residency programs. The balance of the curriculum is completed through convenient self-study and online distance courses. Click here to view the required curriculum for the MSM program

To apply for admission into the MSM program:

• Complete and submit course admission and registration forms
• Submit an official copy of undergraduate degree transcript(s)
• Provide a letter of corporate approval from your supervisor (if applicable)
• Submit a statement of intent indicating experience with budgets
• Complete a telephone interview with the head of the MSM Leadership program.

There is an admission fee of $360 into the MSM program. The tuition cost is $29,870, which includes tuition for all courses, textbooks and study materials. Students are responsible for transportation, lodging and a state-of-the-art laptop computer (PC only). The MSFS program combines the convenience of distance learning with the indispensable student/faculty interaction of on-campus resident study. Two, one week on-campus residencies provide traditional classroom instruction and conclude with a paper and pencil exam, and the self-study courses conclude with a final exam taken at a Pearson VUE testing center. To begin your MSFS studies, you first must be formally admitted to the program. Applicants are selected on the basis of academic and professional criteria. You must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, pay the required application fee, and submit official transcripts from each college or university attended.
